Chateau Bussy Rabutin

The Château de Bussy-Rabutin is a château from the 12th and 14th centuries, in Bussy-le-Grand (50 minutes from the estate). It is classified as a Historic Monument. It has a magnificent French garden with fountains, flowerbeds surrounded by boxwood, greenery, a labyrinth... which will delight young and old alike!

Buffon Museum and Park in Montbard

This town, located 45 minutes from the estate, contains an exceptional heritage site and invites you on a journey through medieval history to the Age of Enlightenment.

The Buffon Museum, classified as a Historic Monument, offers a journey through the history of science and the Philosophy of Enlightenment.

The park is also classified as a Historic Monument and offers a splendid natural and historical setting.

Chateauneuf-en-Auxois (45 minutes from the estate)

This village is one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. It is characterized by its fortress and its medieval ramparts, but also by its architecture of stone houses decorated with pediments and staircase turrets. If you have the opportunity to visit it, don't miss the must-sees: the castle and the churches of Saint-Jacques and Saint Philippe. You will also have the opportunity to admire the Morvan mountains and the Auxois plain from the village belvedere.

Cîteaux Abbey

Cîteaux Abbey in Saint-Nicolas-lès-Cîteaux (50 minutes from the estate) is famous for its farmhouse cheese (Fromage de Cîteaux). It also offers a guided tour of the historic part of the monastery.

The Butte de Thil (15 minutes from the estate)

Built on a hillock, it offers a breathtaking view of the landscapes of Morvan and the hills of Auxois. It is also home to one of the oldest feudal castles in France.

Auxois animal park

The Auxois park, located 40 minutes from the estate, is both a zoological park and a leisure park, extending over 35 hectares. You will see many animals from all countries, a mini-farm as well as an area where children can pet dwarf goats and alpacas at their leisure. Animal shows are offered in high season. On the leisure side, you will find around ten attractions: plant labyrinth, mini-golf, liana bridge, little train, rides... In summer and on sunny weekends, a large swimming pool with two pools are open.
